Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop structured investment products by combining multiple loans into notes, balancing risk and return considerations to meet investor preferences.
  • Implement robust monitoring processes to track the performance of each loan within the note portfolio, including monitoring repayment schedules and interest payments.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and metrics to assess the health of the loan portfolio, identify early warning signs of potential defaults, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate default risks associated with individual loans and the overall note portfolio.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations of investment notes and loan portfolios, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices in structured finance, investment management, and credit risk assessment.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Finance Background Preferred: A degree in finance is a plus, but not required.
  • Attention to details: Strong attention to detail in reviewing loan documentation, conducting data analysis, and monitoring transactional activities within investment notes.
  • Analytical skill: Proficiency in data analysis and quantitative methods to evaluate loan performance, assess credit quality, and optimize portfolio diversification.
  • Problem Solving skills: Abilities to identify challenges, analyse root causes, and develop creative solutions to address complex issues related to note construction, monitoring, and risk management.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing market conditions, regulatory requirements, and investor preferences.
