Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing interior spaces that are aesthetically pleasing and functional, while meeting client needs and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development:

    • Create and present design concepts and mood boards based on client requirements and preferences.
    • Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software.
    • Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes.
  • Client Interaction:

    • Consult with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
    • Provide expert advice on design solutions, color schemes, and spatial arrangements.
    • Revise designs based on client feedback and project developments.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring designs are executed on schedule and within financial constraints.
    • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure successful project implementation.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Research and Trend Analysis:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations.
    • Conduct research to find new products, materials, and technologies that enhance design solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare and manage design documentation, including contracts, specifications, and change orders.
    • Create detailed project reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: [X] years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and building codes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
