Garda Capital Partners Singapore Pte. Ltd. – Trading Intern

Garda Capital Partners is looking for a Trading Intern to join the team in Singapore for Summer 2025. In the course of the internship, you will be exposed to the analytics used in trading, working closely with a mentor who will provide guidance and feedback. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Support portfolio managers by improving trading and risk spreadsheets and systems
• Assist in the development of screeners and trading signals to complement investment decisions
• Support the team’s research process, including data collection and analysis, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in statistics, financial engineering, applied math, finance, computer science, or similar quantitative or technical discipline
• Exceptional quantitative & programming skills (Python & SQL)
• Knowledge and interest in financial markets
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time-sensitive team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented nature with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve

Monthly compensation for this role is expected to be 10,000 SGD, in addition to a 3,500 SGD signing bonus.
