Farmio is an agricultural-food technology company with a mission to digitally transform the South East Asia food supply chain industry to reduce food waste problem Farmio is a food tech/eCommerce company operating in the SEA and Hong Kong food supply chain, serving both business customers and end consumers, as well as providing software-as-a-service solutions to digitally transform businesses throughout the food supply chain. Farmio operates in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong, with plans to expand to the rest of the SEA, north Asia, and other parts of the world.
Mission
We transform the way agricultural produce moves from farms to consumers, aiming to create a more efficient and transparent supply chain for fruits and vegetables. We aim to simplify and optimize the complex supply chain involved in the distribution of fresh produce. At the same time, we aim to reduce wastage of fresh produce due to inefficient handling and delays with the help of efficient logistics and transportation systems
Role Summary:
As a Product Management Trainee at Farmio, you will gain hands-on experience in shaping the development of our innovative products. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to bring product ideas to life. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting market research, assisting in product strategy development, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, and helping to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about product management and eager to contribute to an early-stage startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Support the development of product strategies and roadmaps, aligning them with the company’s overall vision and goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to help bring products from concept to launch
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives
- Help create and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and product requirements
- Participate in the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery of products
- Contribute to the development of product metrics and KPIs to measure success and guide future improvements
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders to communicate product plans and progress
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies that could impact the product strategy
