As a Machine Learning Intern, you will collaborate with our engineers to design, build, and implement machine learning models, focusing on prediction and forecasting tasks. You will help improve operational efficiency by applying machine learning techniques in real-world environments, particularly in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching and developing machine learning models for predictive analytics and time-series forecasting.
- Implement algorithms such as regression, decision trees, and clustering in operational data environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into existing systems.
- Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model tuning.
- Evaluate model performance and suggest improvements for better accuracy and efficiency.
About You: We are looking for driven individuals passionate about applying machine learning techniques to enhance operational outcomes in dynamic environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Students pursuing a Diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or Scikit-learn.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with time-series forecasting and machine learning models such as Random Forest or LSTM.
- Experience working with healthcare data is a plus.
