Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Backend Developer at Zavior in Singapore. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web applications. The role will involve working closely with frontend developers and DevOps engineers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using GoLang.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
- Optimize backend processes for performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure data consistency, high availability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues, ensuring application reliability.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployments.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and monitor backend services in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in GoLang and backend development principles.
- Experience with microservices architecture and building scalable backend systems.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of security and performance best practices for backend development.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Experience working in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot backend issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred, but practical experience is highly valued).
