Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and creative Intern to join our Organisation Development team which sits within Human Resource (HR). The intern will focus on developing engaging social media content (such as TikTok) as part of internal communications and employee engagement campaigns to enhance our organisation development initiatives and outreach to employees. This role offers a great opportunity to experience the role HR plays within the organisation - developing positive organisational culture, improving employee engagement and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, create, edit, and publish short-form video content as part of designing and implementing internal communication strategies
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop content ideas that are engaging and informative
  • Research trends and best practices in social media to ensure content remains relevant and effective
  • Assist in tracking and analysing the performance of social media content and provide insights for improvement
  • Participate in discussions and contribute to the overall organisation development strategy

Preferred Duration:

  • Minimum 8 weeks for university students.
  • Minimum 16 to 24 weeks for polytechnic students.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Polytechnic Diploma/Degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and other social media platforms
  • Video editing skills and familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps)
  • Familiar with graphic design platforms (e.g. Canva)
  • Familiar with Google Workspace
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
