Job Description

About the Division

The Independent Living and Caregiver Support (ILCG) Division develops ecosystem support to empower persons with disabilities and caregivers through integration of services and accessibility, improving built & digital environment and enabling adoption of tech solutions. The division contributes towards the capability building of persons with disabilities, caregivers, and sector professionals; and implement initiatives that enhance the independent living skills of persons with disabilities. 

Project Description

Project 1: Develop a database of literature on caregiver support / caregiving of PWDs. This would include international review of research/publications, published data/ proxy data of profile of caregivers of PWDs in Singapore.

Project 2: Conduct a study to understand learning preferences of caregivers of PWDs and suggest new learning / training models. This would include literature review of caregiver training, developing survey or interview questions and analysing qualitative / quantitative responses, etc.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Project 1

• Conduct literature review on caregiver support research / publications

• Create a database of literature and published data

• Support the team in any other tasks, as needed

Project 2

• Co-design the study including research questions and data collection methods

• Co-conduct qualitative and/or quantitative data collection methods

• Analyse and report findings and make recommendations

• Support the team in any other tasks, as needed

Requirements

• Good organisational skills, analytical and meticulous

• Has experience in conducting literature reviews and/or analysing research data / has knowledge in innovative adult learning methods

• Proactive, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good oral and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Team player and also able to work independently

• Proficient in MS Office
