Job Description

Assist in the Development and Implementation of Virtual Production Pipelines
Support the setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of virtual production workflows, including real-time asset integration and rendering.

• Asset Optimization for Real-Time Rendering
Optimize 3D assets, textures, and shades for real-time performance, balancing quality with performance requirements. Ensure assets are efficient, flexible, and meet the visual quality standards set by the art direction and technical guidelines.

• Collaborate on Real-Time and VFX Integration
Work with the VFX and virtual production teams to integrate real-time assets and effects into virtual production environments. Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of visual and technical issues to ensure a seamless production experience.

• Technical Tool Development and Scripting
Support tool creation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++) to improve asset management and production workflows. Work under the guidance of senior technical artists to create tools that empower the art team and enhance the production pipeline.

• Research and Development
Stay updated on the latest virtual production and real-time rendering technology, identifying opportunities to improve our workflows. Participate in R&D for emerging software, tools, and techniques in virtual production, documenting findings for team-wide knowledge sharing. 

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant diploma/degree program in Computer Graphics, Digital Arts, Game Development, Visual Effects, or a related field. Knowledge of real-time engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity. Familiarity with 3D content creation tools such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max. Basic understanding of scripting (Python, C++, or Blueprint). Strong understanding of PBR workflows and asset optimization for real-time. Experience with motion capture and/or camera tracking systems is a plus. Familiarity with photogrammetry, virtual lighting, or VFX software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects) is a bonus. Basic knowledge of virtual reality or augmented reality workflows.
