The role
At Hypotenuse, interns aren’t here to sit on the sidelines or buy coffee. We empower you to make decisions, contribute creatively and think critically. We're looking for self-starters who want to work in a high-growth, fast-moving start-up. As a Branding and Creative Design Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we visually communicate, refine our brand identity, and bring stories to life through compelling design.
Responsibilities
- Develop visually-appealing assets that tell a compelling story, for the website, app, and marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with the brand team to refine and evolve the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
- Design and create different forms of collaterals, including GIFs, infographics, videos and other multimedia content, tailored to various channels
- Create content and edit videos for help guides, email newsletters, product announcements, advertisements and social media campaigns
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and shape our creative direction
- Design impactful visuals for case studies, presentations, and pitch decks
What we are looking for
- Exceptional design skills with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva, with a strong foundation in design principles such as typography, layout, and color theory
- Sharp eye for detail and a knack for visual storytelling
- Experience in video editing and able to design across various formats, including static and motion graphics, icons, and illustrations
- Committed, organized, and able to work well with deadlines
- An experimental mindset and ability to learn fast
- Ideally able to commit for 4-6 months
