Project Details
Assist the Production Process Engineers with the following tasks:
For New Products or Prototypes:
- Acquire first hand experience with the production processes through hands-on work done under the guidance of the Technicians and Engineers
- Prepare detailed Work Instructions
- Establish Cycle Time for each process step
For current running Products that already have existing Work Instructions and Cycle Times established:
- Acquire first hand experience with the production processes through hands-on work done under the guidance of the Technicians and Engineers
- Review and verify the existing Work Instructions
- Review and verify the established Cycle Times against the actual work as well as the CT stated in SAP
Intended Learning Outcomes
- Gain first hand/ hands-on experience in the use of various hand tools and machineries, as well as manufacturing work in general
- Gain hands-on experience in the use of common Office and Engineering softwares
- Learn and understand the importance of Work Instructions and Cycle
- Times in ensuring good Productivity and Quality
Preferred Skillset
- Passion for engineering work (hands-on/ practical work + documentation)
- Basic knowledge of common Office and Engineering softwares (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Solidworks, etc.)
- Ability to communicate in either Chinese or Malay (on top of English)
