Job Description

Are you passionate about creating immersive and unforgettable tabletop gaming experiences? If you’d like to put your knack for designing game mechanics and storytelling into play, we invite you to join our team!

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in game development projects, including game facilitation and/or client discussions.
  • Design and iterate on game mechanics, rules, and components to ensure engaging gameplay experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the content, design, and project teams on developing game concepts and narratives.
  • Write game related documents, including any proposals required for prospective commissioned projects.
  • Contribute to the crafting of playtest feedback questions and analysing collected data.
  • Conduct playtesting sessions to gather feedback and make game iterations accordingly.
  • Stay up to date on game industry trends.
  • Assist in any workshops and events that the company might conduct and/or participate.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Creative Writing, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of game mechanics, including probability, balance, and player psychology.
  • Passionate about tabletop games.
  • Interest in storytelling and world-building skills.
  • Proficiency with game design software and tools (e.g., Tabletop Simulator, Tabletopia).
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
