Formed in 1973 as the national sports body for persons with disabilities, the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is a charity that delivers community, developmental and high performance initiatives to build a vibrant and inclusive community where persons with disabilities can pursue their sporting aspirations.
This position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Communications team to build brand equity with various stakeholders, so as to help more persons with disabilities know and engage in para athletes and sports.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Strategy:
○ Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement.
○ Create engaging, on-trend, and compelling content (videos, photos, graphics, and written posts) for SDSC's social media platforms.
○ Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate fresh ideas to keep content relevant and appealing.
- Video & Photography Production:
○ Manage end-to-end video production, including pre-production (ideation, storyboarding), production, and post-production (editing).
○ Capture high-quality photographs to support campaigns, events, and storytelling initiatives.
- Social Media Management:
○ Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
○ Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive and impactful social media strategies.
○ Maintain and monitor the content calendar for strategic social media postings and event promotions.
- Campaign & Event Support:
○ Assist in the planning and execution of publicity campaigns and events.
○ Design artwork and visuals for social media posts and other promotional materials.
- Engagement & Reporting:
○ Foster engagement with SDSC’s stakeholders through interactive content, EDMs, surveys, and events.
○ Track and analyze social media performance to continuously improve content effectiveness.
