Job Description

About the role

 When looking for a solution for a problem, knowing the law is only half of the equation.

Reporting to the Regional Ethics & Compliance Director in our Asia-Pacific office, this role aims to impart you with a practical experience to deal with the practice of compliance.

This role will support the implementation of the CEVA Compliance program across Asia Pacific and ensure CEVA's compliance with E&C regulations, principles, and standards in Asia-Pacific. This full-time 6-month internship will commence July 2025.

What you will be doing

  • Assisting in the implementation of CEVA Compliance Program in APAC
  • Brainstorming, sourcing, and implementing solutions to improve compliance processes such as Trade Compliance, Regulatory Compliance and Governance
  • Driving Asia-Pacific’s Ethics & Compliance innovation
  • Raising the visibility of the Ethics & Compliance department and educating our internal clients

The successful candidate

Essential

  • Undergraduate Degree in the relevant area, including Law or Compliance
  • General knowledge in Ethics & Compliance i.e., Anti-bribery and Anti-Corruption international laws, Trade Compliance, Data Privacy and Competition Laws in Asia-Pacific
  • Proactive, collaborative, meticulous and eager to learn
  • Reliable, respectful, and responsive
  • High standard of ethics and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • A curious mind that frequently questions: How can we do this better?
