Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and Pursuing New Business Opportunities in contract business:
- Researching and identifying potential B2B clients and market segments.
- Generating leads through networking, office visits, direct marketing and attending industry events.
- Developing and implementing business development strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:
- Building strong relationships with new and existing clients, including designers, architects, and direct clients.
- Collaborating with sales teams to engage with clients and understand their needs.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Tracking market trends, monitoring competitors, and analyzing customer needs to adjust strategies.
- Understanding the furniture industry, our brands and products and contract sales landscape.
Strategic Planning:
- Developing and implementing business development plans and strategies.
- Setting goals and targets for business and revenue growth.
Sales Support:
- Supporting the sales team in securing contracts and closing deals.
- Providing product knowledge and expertise to clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- The ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients is crucial.
Sales and Business Development Experience:
- Experience in identifying, pursuing, and closing business opportunities is essential.
- Knowledge of the Furniture contract Industry:
- Understanding of furniture products, trends, and the contract sales market is a plus.
