Geometry Dash Lite – IT Manager

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with the company’s game development goals and business objectives.
• Lead IT infrastructure planning, ensuring scalability for current and future gaming projects.
• Collaborate with executives, developers, and stakeholders to integrate IT solutions that enhance game production and operations.

Infrastructure & Security Management

• Oversee network architecture, cloud solutions, and data center operations to support game development and live services.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect proprietary game assets and player data.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery strategies for all IT systems.

Game Development Support

• Manage IT support for game development tools, engines, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and live operations teams to optimize performance and deployment workflows.
• Oversee asset management, version control, and IT resource allocation for game production.

Team & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with technology vendors, cloud providers, and external partners.
• Stay ahead of emerging IT trends in gaming, implementing best practices and new technologies as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of IT management experience, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
• Strong expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP), networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and version control systems (Git, Perforce).
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or related field.
