Job Description

Membership & Community Admin Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

The Membership & Community Admin Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to our membership team from onboarding new members to providing our team with support in building our communities through events. The Membership & Community admin assistant will sit within the membership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Membership & Community Events:

  • Manage highly sensitive membership data - create and update member records and databases
  • Support the membership team on onboarding new members from start to finish.
  • Become competent in using our Membership CRM system and support the team by pulling membership reports
  • Support membership team Conceptualizing, producing and managing community focused initiatives, events and programming, working with the wider 1880 team
  • Assist in creation of Event Orders and ensure all details are correct
  • Source decor, props, games, materials etc. required for events
  • Assist with the set-up and breakdown of events
  • Support on the day/night of relevant membership & club wide events - kids programming, wellness, big club parties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager

Bardo (co-working space):

  • Support with day to day membership admin and management of Bardo, our co-working space
  • Supports in scheduling appointments, signs for incoming packages/ organises outward bound packages for tenants and members (surprise & delight hampers!)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends (off in lieu will be offered)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Strong team player
  • Must be able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
  • Strong proficiency in organization, problem solving and communication
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and able to deal independently and maturely with uncertainty and challenges.
  • Able to implement and materialise programmes and concepts developed
