Key Responsibilities
- Manage Customer product delivery from export locations and/or transhipment hub, enabling network and cargo connectivity. Look for opportunities to minimise supply chain variability and improve delivery timelines.
- Use big data as your friend to help you locate hotspots, innovate new solutions, drive change and implement them through structured execution.
- Innovate, Experiment, Fail, Re-group – Try again. Build ideas through agile learning to deliver results. Own the ideas and projects and use this to find solutions.
- Your stakeholders across the Maersk brands are key to delivery. Participate, speak up your mind, ask, learn and challenge status quo! Use this information to drive change and results.
- You will be handling customer direct products like Break bulk, Change of Destination and more. Learn decision making with the customer centricity mindset at the heart of your action.
- Your Daily Tasks and activities impact the customer experience. Handle with care, devising trade-off between service delivery, cost, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Create and maintain operational deadlines to streamline coordination across departments.
- Accountable for conducting daily terminal inventory sweeps to ensure in house and terminal systems are aligned, laden and empty containers.
- Ensure all additional unbudgeted costs are recovered from either our vendors or customers.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve customer experience by optimising our processes for future success.
- Seek and recommend opportunistic improvements via collaboration within the team and with other teams.
- Build customer relationships and be curious about their business needs and drivers, in order to better serve them and identify new business opportunities.
