Abbott Laboratories (Singapore) Pte Ltd – Business Analyst Intern

Core Responsibilities:

• You will be tasked with real-life projects and responsibilities from Day 1 to analyze, investigate data sets from internal and external data sources across the regions

• Engage project teams to understand project needs/ requirements and provide technical expertise with data and analytical tools to solve business questions

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop and ensure critical data systems infrastructures and integration offer critical data model availability and scalability

• Build, validate, test, and deploy machine learning or other data science models. Ensure relevant data and analytics are available to meet project and technical readiness by continuously addressing the data models, wrangling, and cleaning data, and improving data solutions and platforms

• Explore emerging capabilities and Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning for flawless integration and application between data sets across multiple sources

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Economics/ Statistics/Applied Science/Business Analytics in a reputable university

• Proficient with Python, SQL and other scripting/ programing languages to solve real-life problems

• Prior internship/working experience in a big data environment preferred

• Strong analytical skills, prior experience using multiple data sources with basic knowledge on data transformation programs• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Able to commit to a 3-month full-time Summer internship (May to July/August 2022)
