Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:
* Responsible for providing support for training and employee development activities.
* Lead the management and execution of training matrices and accurate training assignment in Learning Management System.
* Work with internal trainers and external training vendors in scheduling of trainings for employees.
* Support the execution of training framework, strategy, and projects.
* Perform continuous improvement for training processes and procedure to improve efficiency and strengthen compliance status.
Major Responsibilities:
Learning Management System and Training Compliance
* Assist in the development of Training Matrices and the formulation of departmental and site training strategy/plan.
* Lead review of training matrix with stakeholders to ensure accuracy of training assignment.
* Generate reports and analyze training status proactively. Work with stakeholder or trainer on required actions or issue resolution that will ensure employees are able to complete training on time and in-compliance.
* Lead the management of data in Learning Management System, initiate resolution or improvement that will facilitate efficient search or maintenance of data. Perform data entry and update information timely and accurately that matches training matrix.
* Generate reports as required and report metric KPIs.
* Subject-matter-expert in the functionality of Learning Management System, explore and implement useful functions to stakeholders that will help with reporting and compliance in training completion.
* Responsible for the filing of learning records in accordance with retention policy where documents are easily retrievable at all time and audit ready.
Training Content Development and Course Implementation
* Assist in training needs analysis process to establish the learning and development needs of the plant, department and individual.
* Collaborate with subject-matter-experts to develop course/program.
* Subject-matter-expert in the use of e-learning authoring tool to design interactive and effective training.
* Work with trainers on training material preparation and other logistics for course implementation.
Train-the-Trainer (TTT)
* Conduct Train-the-trainer to in-house trainers to help them improve their training delivery skills.
Employees’ Training and Development
* Continuously work with stakeholders on training needs and source for good courses that can be part of site’s training offering for employees’ development.
* Collaborate with stakeholders in ensuring completion of competency development plan and assist with reporting of metric.
Training Scheduling and Enrollment
* Responsible for implementing new hire orientation program, including planning, coordination with department facilitators, all necessary communication and logistics, tracking of onboarding program completion and submission of necessary documents.
* Responsible to plan and schedule all training/ learning activities in the approved training plans, including all necessary approval and communication, course registration and payment, SDF applications and claims.
* Accountable for in-house instructor-led trainings scheduling for such that employees can attend their required training as needed. Communicate with stakeholders and ensure employees who need the trainings are registered for the trainings.
* Schedule for and facilitate training and internship report out session with the right target audience.
Training Processes and Continuous Improvement
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in training processes and execute action plans to improve or close gaps either to make work more efficient or ensure audit-readiness.
* Responsible to execute change request, initiate workflow and track to approved state as per procedure revision timeline.
Conduct trainings as required.
* Any other duties as assigned by manager.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
* At least 0-3 years of relevant work experience in learning and development
* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
* Experience in e-learning authoring tools, video creation for training implementation is a plus.
* Meticulous and detailed.
* Critical thinking and analysis skill.
* Proactive and take initiative in driving for improvement or issue resolution.
Education:
* Bachelor Degree or related discipline or Diploma with minimum more than 5 years of experience.
