Job Description

Finance Coordinator (Part Time)


Accela is looking for an enthusiastic and self-starting Finance Coordinator who can support Accela’s Finance Team. This role demands a solutions-oriented individual, primarily responsible for assisting our Client Leads. Organisational skills, customer support, responsiveness, clear communication, a passion for process and working as a team are key success components for this role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist our Client Leads through the scanning of Accounts Payable Invoices.

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including setting up bank payments and reconciling bank account ledgers using the Xero accounting software.

  • Email management, including sending remittance confirmations.

  • Help the Client Leads to manage client’s Accounts Payable ledgers including recording invoices and creating payments.

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable communications.

  • Any other ad hoc matters. 

 

 KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Work experience in a firm or in-house operational finance role.

  • Experience with Xero cloud accounting system is a bonus.

  • Ability to work twenty hours per week.
