Job Description

Undergraduates in this programme will be given the opportunity to hone their entrepreneurial skills, as well as receive first-hand experience of working in a leading financial institution whilst still studying. Combining classroom learning and practical fieldwork, participants of the internship will gain well-rounded exposure to the business operations, and be more capable in performing the role of a Financial Consultant upon their appointment. The soft skills and experiences gained in this role will add value to your career path and bring you further in life.

1) Be a Financial Planner

  • Establish clients' financial goals
  • Determine current financial situation and identify shortfalls
  • Provide customised solutions to suit needs


2) Be a Trusted Advisor

  • Help clients prioritize needs and manage cash flow
  • Develop wealth management strategies
  • Advise clients to plan for their short term responsibilities and their retirement needs


3) Be a Financial Coach

  • Identify the proper opportunities for clients
  • Provide quality and sound advice on financial and investment plans
  • Equip clients with the necessary knowledge for proper saving techniques


4) Be a Financial Solutions Provider

  • Assist clients in achieving their financial goals
  • Educate them to make better decisions
  • Offer affordable solutions and options that suit their needs


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualifications of a full certificate in GCE 'A' Level, International Baccalaureate Diploma qualification, diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore or equivalent
  • Males must have completed National Service
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Proficient in English
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Result–orientated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
