ACME Focus – Accounts Executive

The job scope covers, including but not limited to, the following:

• Bookkeeping – Recording business transactions into computerized accounting systems, maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
• Full Set of Accounts – Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and prepare audit schedules (when applicable).
• Month-End & Year-End Closing – Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts
• Financial Reporting and Compilation of Financial Statements – Prepare annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards
• Corporate Tax Computation & Filing – Calculate and file corporate tax returns accurately and on time
• GST Filing – Prepare and submit GST returns while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Ad-hoc Duties – Provide accounting support as required

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, LCCI, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling full sets of accounts, including financial reporting & corporate tax
• Computer literate
• Proficiency in XERO and able to pick up other accounting software fast
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), corporate tax, and GST regulations
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A self-motivated team player with a professional attitude
