Acoustic & Environmental Solutions Pte Ltd (AES) was incorporated in year 2002. We provide acoustic consultancy services in architectural, building, environmental and industrial acoustics, noise & vibration control and electro-acoustic in Singapore and the regional countries.
AES is an independent consultant providing high quality and professional engineering advice ranging from analysis, initial design and specification, to prediction and field acoustic testing for performance assessment or remedial engineering solutions. With in-house expert staff and the substantial backing of our own state-of-the-art acoustic instrument and modelling software, AES is able to offer a complete service in all aspects of acoustic consultancy for any scale of project.
AES has vast experience in land traffic and industrial Noise Impact Assessment (NIA) for compliance with the latest National Environment Agency’s (NEA) technical guideline. Combining our experience, advance noise measurement instrument and cutting-edge noise modelling software, we are fully equipped to predict the façade noise exposure, indoor noise level and hence put forward practical and cost-effective noise mitigation solutions to our clients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern or assistant to assist senior engineer in execution of acoustic, noise & vibration control consultancy projects. You will be supporting a growing number of projects and working directly with our acoustic consultants who have more than twenty years of industry experience.
Job Requirements:
For intern - we welcome applications from JC students, diploma students (preferably 2nd or 3rd year students) or undergraduates in building, engineering or relevant discipline on vacation/year end school holidays.
For Assistant Acoustic Engineer - diploma or degree in building, engineering or relevant discipline.
No experience is required but must possess initiative to learn and diligence in works, self-discipline and good time management;
Strong interest in building construction, building services engineering, acoustic and environmental noise;
Will be expected to learn noise modelling software and familiarize with acoustic, noise and vibration testing software and instrument;
Opportunity to involve in actual field testing works, post-processing of test data;
Assist in preparation of technical report for submission;
Basic skill or experience in AutoCAD software and ability to read building plan will be an advantage.
Must-Have Skills:
Ability to use Microsoft Words, Excel and Power Point
Ability to communicate and work well and co-ordinate with others.
