Job Description

As an APAC Finance Intern, you will support the regional finance team in driving critical financial processes, reporting, and analysis across the APAC region. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management reporting, and process improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver insights that influence strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Management Reporting: Prepare and update regular management reports, including weekly performance management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  2. Monthly Closing Process: Support the regional monthly closing process by contributing to reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.

  3. Financial Analysis: Assist in ad-hoc FP&A analyses, such as gross margin deep dives and cost optimization reviews, providing actionable insights.

  4. Competitor Intelligence & Benchmarking: Compile and deliver competitor intelligence reports and benchmark analyses to aid strategic planning.

  5. Process Improvement & Automation: Contribute to new initiatives, including process optimization and report automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

 

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to regional finance operations.
