Job Description

Position Description:

As part of the Dornier Digital Experience team, you have a flair for words and are excited about making an impact with writing. At Dornier MedTech, we believe that the future of healthcare marketing is digitally driven, and we are looking to add you to our team to help us build our content library.

From this internship, you will learn about how to better engage with a Kidney Stone Patient Community, deliver compelling customer research, and conceptualize and execute B2B marketing campaigns, from ideation to analysis. You will learn to optimize content creation for social media, particularly in the medical field. You can expect to gain exposure to senior stakeholders worldwide, and to collaborate with global teams. Your primary responsibilities will be to support the writing and delivery of content for our social media channels.

This position works closely with the global marketing team and product teams. You should have a good sense for social media, sharp copywriting skills and a keen interest in the medical field.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify key topics from Patient community, conduct research, analysis and synthesis to deliver on key insights for Dornier business interests
  • Community management of our Worst Pain Ever Patient community (US audience)
  • Engaging directly with the community to identify opportunities for thought leadership
  • Contribute to data collection across surveys, patient interviews, FB page content reviews
  • Conduct research across trending topics in Urology and beyond, and develop compelling Social Media content that will form our weekly content calendar to:
  • Demonstrate thought leadership for a global audience
  • Raise engagement for our Patient Community groups with relevant, useful content
  • Copywriting for our social media posts, articles and other materials
  • Identify trends in the broader healthcare digital marketing space, to influence the team’s content strategy and performance across platforms
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams in the rollout of various branding and product campaigns across digital platforms
  • Learn from senior management across key meetings and interactions
  • Work in an agile, digitally focused project team with global impact

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate pursuing a Sciences/Communications/Business degree or any related discipline
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Possesses a portfolio of well-written articles or social media posts
  • Comfortable working with complex information, such as medical research papers
  • Understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and emerging social media platforms
  • A creative self-starter that can work independently
  • Excellent communicator and effective team player
  • Willing to learn and contribute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
