AI Love Venture – Curriculum Design and Teacher

• Educationist creates lesson plans and teaches them to a class, group or individual.
• They will monitor the student’s progression and present the information to their parents.
• They may implement classroom rules, create tests and work closely with school administrators to prepare students for their standardized exams.

Responsibilities:

• As an after-school/enrichment educationist, your main responsibility is to nurture and enrich students along their learning journey.
  
  
• This is done through revising study materials and other content provided, explaining the approach on how to solve problems and reviewing their completed work.
• They would help students develop good study skills and strengthen their fundamentals, leading to an improvement in academic performance.

Typical Working Hours:

• 9am to 6pm
• Classes = 1hour weekly

Requirement:

• Singaporean / non-Singaporean with valid working visa
• 21 and above
• 1-3 years’ experience working with children
• Must be well-versed in English and/or Mandarin language
• Fun, exciting individual
• Energetic, and entertaining
• Familiar with teaching a language course
• Possess a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility

Other Duties May Include:

• Travelling to schools/kindergartens/enrichment centres within Singapore to conduct sessions using Language Apps (Zangu) and AI Teach U system.
• Research or recommend textbooks, software, equipment, or other learning materials to complement lesson plans for teaching a language
• Prepare and facilitate workshops, collaborative projects, or academic support sessions for small groups of students.
• Participate in training and development sessions to discuss practices or learn new techniques.
• Organize an environment to promote productivity and learning.
• Monitor student performance or assist students in academic environments, such as classrooms, laboratories, or computing centres.
• Review class material with students by discussing the text, working out solutions to problems, or revising worksheets or other assignments.
• Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.
• Prepare lesson plans or learning modules for sessions according to students' needs and goals.
• Maintain records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
• Identify, develop, or implement intervention strategies, plans, or individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Develop teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.
• Communicate students' progress to students, parents or teachers in written progress reports, in person, by phone, or by email.
