Description:
We're looking for a Data intern in the Operations team who is an adaptable individual while being a dynamic team player with effective communication skills to join our team. This role will be based in Singapore and you will be directly reporting to the Chief Operations Officer.
The ideal candidate will possess some basic IT knowledge, keen eye for detail. If you have experience in the above or are simply looking for dynamic and fulfilling work experience, this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative ways to extract information to train our image recognition engine.
- Monitor the operational health status and performance of remote devices to ensure reliable and accurate transfer of data between devices and our backend server.
- Assist with streamlining of job processes; such as but not limited to, improvising existing SOPs, automating workflows, and developing APIs.
- Take charge of leading assigned projects and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams including, but not limited to, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to fulfill business requirements.
Learning Outcomes & Objectives:
- Ability to come out with Parsing rules using Regex
- Ability to sharpen OCR software coding skills
- Seeing throughout entire data processing stages
- Enhance on soft skills (e.g. presentation skills, communication skills, working in a team)

Requirements:
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Proactive and self-motivated individual who enjoys working within an entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in English, bonus if fluent in Chinese
- Able to commit for at least 5 months
Good to Have:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is a huge advantage
