At the product development side, the group in the controller department is focused on complementing the core business units to provide motion control solutions and to solve challenging industry problems and to arm our solutions with a competitive edge.
With the Singapore team, we facilitate as the glue and interface to the other design and support centers around the globe. It is our responsibility to hold the group together and to enhance the dynamic nature of the collaborations between the different development, applications, productions and support offices.
Job Description
- Testing: Setup controllers with motors. Tune the system and perform functionality tests for new functions and features. Liaising with R&D to report bugs and perform debugging.
- Mechanical Design: Adhoc designing, prototyping and overseeing of production of electronic product mechanics (controller casing), demo kits, modified stages (for testing). (Preferably some experience with Solidworks)
- Electrical Design: Adhoc designing of interface cables, drawing electrical diagrams. (No pre-requisites for electrical knowledge required)
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree and/or equivalent, preferably in Mechanical or Automation and/or any other relevant course of study.
- Preferably with 3 Year(s) of working experience in Motion Controls, High Precision, Semiconductor, Machine Building or Manufacturing and/or any other related field/industry is required for this position.
- Dealt with applications project, delivery to customers, facing with customer and deadline pressure.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to solve a vast spectrum of potential issues
Other Information
Skillset(s) Requirement:
- Fluency in Chinese, both written and spoken
- Knowing how to speak Hebrew is a huge plus
- Strong communication skills
- Strong social skills and intuitive feel for group dynamics
