Founded in Singapore in 2004, Akribis Systems is a motion control company that provides high precision direct drive motors. We construct products for a range of industries including renewable energy, semiconductor, communication, biomedical, robotics or any industry that requires precise motion.
We produce direct drive motors with a high force density and patented coil design that decreases cogging. Our linear and rotary motors also are available with stages that we manufacture ourselves so you can smoothly integrate the motor into your design.
More than simply a manufacturer, we are also innovators. Our deep knowledge of engineering and dedication to the work has resulted in 44 patents, and our research and development into the field of magnetics will only continue to grow our business. Our engineers are able to custom design motors and stages to your specific requirements with you as a co-developer.

As an industrial engineer, you will assist the team conceptually with a broadstroke role of:
- Clearing group/team obstacles -Establishing an environment where the team can be effective
- Addressing team dynamics
- Ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team
- Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
Formally, your responsibilities will include:
a. Projects/Tasks management: listing/tracking/prioritizing, ensuring full process of definitions, meetings, tests, release.
- Working with everyone in the R/D and liaising with the other support groups such as production, applications and sales.
- Working with R/D head (and other relevant managers) to report the status and get guidance on group trajectory.
Knowledge organization (define and maintain, and enforce contents of our technical library):
- Based on group software ecosystems, such as Microsoft Teams, GitLab, Clickup etc.
- All our definitions, specifications, design review, design documents, tests reports, etc
b. Define and maintain documents formats and relevant ISO procedures.
c. Versions’ control and release versions.
d. As relevant, communication with customers (for versions, or tasks statuses).
e. ERP embedding
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Degree Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Industrial Engineering and/or any other relevant course of study.
- At least 2-5 Year(s) of knowledge in software/motion control/manufacturing/semiconductor.
- working formally as an industrial engineer, supporting the team, working in a multi-disciplinary environment, project management, knowledge of software development process, and having gone through a full product life cycle are highly desirable work experiences
Other Information
Skillset(s) Requirement:
- Fluency in Chinese, both written and spoken
- Knowing how to speak Hebrew is a huge plus
- Strong communication skills
- Strong social skills and intuitive feel for group dynamics
- Formal training in Industrial Engineering is a huge plus
