Founded in Singapore in 2004, Akribis Systems is a motion control company that provides high precision direct drive motors. We construct products for a range of industries including renewable energy, semiconductor, communication, biomedical, robotics or any industry that requires precise motion.

We produce direct drive motors with a high force density and patented coil design that decreases cogging. Our linear and rotary motors also are available with stages that we manufacture ourselves so you can smoothly integrate the motor into your design.

More than simply a manufacturer, we are also innovators. Our deep knowledge of engineering and dedication to the work has resulted in 92 patents, and our research and development into the field of magnetics will only continue to grow our business. Our engineers are able to custom design motors and stages to your specific requirements with you as a co-developer.

Department Overview:

The organization is currently enhancing the Quality Manageent aspects. As Customer/Supplier/Inline Process Quality Engineer, you will berequired to assist the Quality Manager in the setting up and maintaining the Customer/Supplier Quality Systems and Matrices, working withthe various departments from the various teams in achieving organizational objectives. You will be required to proactive and lead activitiesthat improve, monitor and measure our customers', suppliers' and our deliverables to our customers, ensuring smooth day to day qualityoperations as well achieving long term organizational objectives.

Job Description
  • Accountable and ownership over customer's/supplier's implementation and maintenance of company's standard Quality ManagementSystems
  • Handle and develop management in areas of qualification, audits, continual assessments, engineering change and qualitynonconformance issues
  • Seek continuous improvement in process, policy, and procedures.
  • Identify and set KPI metrics using reporting tools to fulfil standards and regulations
  • Work with internal stakeholders in supplier development/customer requirements to ensure procedures and specification compliance bysuppliers
  • Track, analyze and evaluate of supplier performance weekly/monthly trends
  • Track and maintain customer/supplier quality indices Coordinate and facilitate all CAPA activities (internal and external)
  • Assist in planning and execution of all certification audits Develop, update, and maintain QMS training materials for customers / suppliers
  • Develop proper coordination internally to ensure timely submission, escalate and proactively resolve overdue quality related issues anddocumentation deadlines
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Department Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering with Quality Concepts or related field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's in Electronics or Mechatronic with Quality Engineering as a minor.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years, all aspects of Quality Engineering experience in the high technology industry
  • Familiarity with Electrical and Electronic manufacturing, Motor manufacturing and assembly, and/or semiconductors
  • Overseas / cross-cultural / cross-geographical experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language internallyand externally

Other Information

Skillset(s) Requirement: 

  • Experience in customer/supplier quality management processes
  • Good Understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO9001, 14001, 45001
  • Professional ISO9001 auditor Certification
  • Ability to work under pressure, establish priorities and deliver to fixed dates. Understand and manage the critical path
  • Fluent with Microsoft office systems
  • Strong in customer/supplier documentation control, records and CAPAs
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to anticipate issues and proactively propose and negotiate solutions.
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of internal and external processes, customer satisfaction andoptimization
  • Able to join or lead conference calls occasionally outside normal business hours
  • Good interpersonal skills with internal team.
  • Willing to travel for work, if any (up to 5% travel)
