We are an Ecommerce start up. We are looking for young talented interns to join our team of 6.
Intern shall work as Sales & Business Development Intern.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Will perform the following duties: Call, email, conduct and participate in meetings with potential and existing suppliers and partners. Intern will also participate in marketing campaigns.
- is responsible for the following responsibilities:
- Conducting background research on competitors, countries, projects, and funding, and other BD specific information;
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of the BD Department’s databases and filing systems;
- Providing administrative and logistical support, including organizing meetings and conference calls with potential partners, staff, and within the BD team;
- Writing BD-related materials including marketing one-pagers, capacity statements, and other thought pieces;
- Contributing to quality of written content including proofreading, formatting, and editing documents.
Learning Outcomes & Objectives:
• Get a first hand look at the day to day operations of a (very) fast growing startup
• Get the opportunity to work with a vibrant international team
• Analyse key audiences and learn to design and apply outreach campaigns to reach them effectively
• Understand various tools, techniques, and platforms used to manage campaigns and social media channels; and
• Evaluate end-to-end marketing processes and suggest improvements.
Who we are looking for:
• University student studying pursuing Comms, Strategy or Marketing
• Prior experience working in eCommerce is a plus, Team player, who enjoys the fast paced life of a startup
• A motivated worker who is organised, detail-oriented and able to multitask
• A dreamer who is looking to learn beyond their job scope, and always looking to innovate and suggest new more effective ways to do various tasks
