Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

(Sundays required on event days or during busy schedules)

Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Intern Assistant Event Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support our event planning team in organizing and executing various events, including weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in event management and planning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Assist in planning and organizing events from concept to completion.

• Support senior event planners in coordinating logistics, such as venue booking, vendor management, and event setup.

• Participate in client meetings and help with follow-up tasks.

• Maintain and update event documentation, timelines, and checklists.

• Assist in creating event proposals, presentations, and layouts.

• Support on-site event execution, including setup, coordination, and teardown.

• Help manage event supplies, equipment, and inventory.

• Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and managing emails.

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all events run smoothly and meet client expectations.

 

Requirements:

 

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as required.

• A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

• Prior experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not mandatory.
