Job Description

Our Opportunity:

 As a Business Strategy Intern, you will be supporting the strategy team to analyze the current business & to deliver on some of the key strategic initiatives & solve the challenges faced. You will be working on a project basis with the internal or external stakeholders to solve a challenge or to deliver an initiative, which could be internal organizational projects or strategic external projects. You will play an active role in all aspects of the project: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations and implementing change, which typically involves discussions with, and presentations to senior leaders. Most of the projects will require close collaboration with various head of departments and with the other C-suite members of AIS. The strategy unit reports into the Chief of Staff (to the CEO).

 Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
  • Synthesize complex information to identify the key challenges and diagnose the problem
  • Identify potential solutions to solve the problems and challenges faced 
  • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner to share the findings and project updates
  • Project management - various initiatives setup and to be setup for future
  • Project tracking - scheduling, agenda preparation, outcome documentation & tracking

 

Capabilities and Qualifications:

  • MBA & BBA preferred. Other business degrees such as marketing, economics, finance etc. will be considered
  • Excellent Communication, Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel Skills
  • Project Management Skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguous ever-changing situations
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Understanding of design and communication principles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
