Job Description

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The position is created to support the project manager of the Life Transformation Program while he is abroad for a 6 weeks assignment to the headquarter (in Munich). During 6 weeks the intern will need to get familiar with the Life Transformation Program and then he will work during 6 weeks on the preparation for the CEO meeting, so called Life Day (follow up on open items, consolidation of the experts’ presentations, logistic, etc.). The Life Transformation Program has been put in place to make our Life insurance business fit for the future. It comprises all critical business transformation efforts that are currently underway and touches on all business functions, including distribution, product development, portfolio management, operations and finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure follow up on the deliverable of the key workstreams that fall under the Life Transformation program and update the project manager with clear communication
- Prepare clear communication, both written and oral, to drive decision making, obtain guidance and direction and/or inform stakeholders on project status
- Prepare the material to ensure the successful running of monthly Life Days where Life Insurance CEOs & Regional Board members meet to address outstanding issues.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree, preferably Business or Finance major

- Solid English communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Organized mindset to effectively push deadlines and deliverables.
- Positive attitude and drive to for success
- Excellent Powerpoint and intermediate Excel skills
