Job Description
We are an internet startup, focusing on Social Commerce space. We are live in Beta at www.offersnpals.com and are seeing customer traction. Have received some media coverage as well in e27, Sparklette etc. At this point, we need to strengthen the team to grow our business.
ROLE: Business Development/Sales Intern
* You would be responsible for getting local businesses on board our platform. Small local businesses and bigger franchises, both are our targets and we would expect coverage from both the angles.
* A typical day at work would entail e-mailing, cold calling local businesses and meeting them to give a sales pitch about our product and encouraging them to come on board with us.
* Community development and user cultivation at high user density centers like NUS/NTU
REQUIREMENTS:
* It is a client facing and outdoor role and hence you must be comfortable going out and meeting people. If you are looking for a desk job, this isn't the best choice.
* Mandarin knowledge a definite plus.
