Key Responsibilities

• Understand the tech architecture and implement changes to extract greater yield
• Understand, Problem solve and implement APIs to automate interactions with external merchants or sellers
• Contribute in building scalable, reusable and robust code
• Learn and implement best practices for fast speed e-commerce ecosystems
• Ensure features work across platforms and devices .
• Own the ticket management system to deliver on all open issues basis the priority
• Ensure front-end and back-end systems work in sync with minimum latency and data flow is intact
• Equipped with creative skills, commercial bent of mind , problem solving approach leveraging technology

Requirements:

• Management of AWS including database administration
• Knowledge of PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript/Python
• Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript/Python frameworks, including jQuery and Django
• Good understanding of web application structure (oauth, rest)
• Create and modify legacy database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
