Role Overview

As a Marketing Intern at Angelhack, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and driving engagement within our community. Responsibilities include managing the editorial calendar and ensuring the timely execution of content across various channels. The ideal candidate should have a knack for creating and executing effective marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversion. 

What You'll Do

• Editorial Calendar Management: Create and maintain a detailed editorial calendar, scheduling content across various social media platforms and email channels.

• Content Creation and Distribution: Write and edit engaging content, including blog posts, social media captions, and email newsletters.

• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Use this information to refine strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.

• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to our marketing efforts.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the design, content, and event teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business goals.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Strong writing and communication skills, with a proven ability to create engaging captions.

• Experience managing social media accounts for organizations such as schools, sports clubs, or personal brands.

• Proficiency in various social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

• Familiarity with content management systems and social media scheduling tools.

• Ability to create short-form videos (e.g., TikTok, Reels) is a plus.

• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines.

• A passion for technology and innovation.

Desirable:

• A passion for all things tech, from blockchain to AI to the latest Silicon Valley gossip.

• Ability to communicate in emoji hieroglyphics and GIFs (seriously, we love those).

• A love for hackathons, startups, and all things nerdy.
