Angie’s Oyster Bar & Grill is an independently run seafood bar & grill just outside of Tiong Bahru, with plenty of parking space. Job Description

Management Trainee – Restaurant Management

  • On the job training to provide professional, courteous, and personalized food and beverage services to customers.
  • Perform efficiently restaurant opening, order taking, order checking, food & drinks serving, bill preparation, bill closure, table clearing, cleaning of utensils etc related processes
  • Ensure good engagement with regular customers to encourage increased spending at restaurant
  • Ensure daily cleanliness and physical attractiveness of restaurant
  • Be familiar with menu, promotions and service procedures.
  • Provide full assistance to guests concerning general queries at the restaurant.
  • Provide full assistance to incoming inquiries via email or telephone and make reservations accordingly and accurately for the guests.
  • To work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure all guests are greeted properly and escorted to their ready tables.
  • To familiarize with the work nature and responsibilities of floor staff and all the restaurants events.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be a full-time current student local and overseas recognised college
  • Great interest in developing skills in F&B management
  • Proactive, positive, meticulous and able to work independently requiring minimal direction
  • Able to work on weekends and night hours when required
  • Punctual and excellent customer service attitude
  • Pleasant, courteous and outgoing personality with lots of smiles
  • Very strong communication, interpersonal, relationship management and professional sales skills
  • Willingness to learn and commit
  • Good team player and enjoy interacting with people
  • Possession of the Food Hygiene Certification will be highly preferred
