Aon Internship Experience
Aon Internship Experience gives you hands-on working experience and is designed to give you an insight into our business, an understanding of our culture while developing critical skills necessary for future success and postgraduate opportunities at Aon. During your time here, you will be contributing to our business and taking on real responsibility. You will be supported by a ‘buddy’, a mentor to answer any questions you might have about your work and our business, and be provided the necessary technical knowledge and business skills during the internship.
Our program runs from 15th May 2017 to 21st Jul 2017.
The Regional Contracts Team led by the Chief Contracts Negotiator is responsible for Contracts deployment and negotiations for all ARS offices in Asia. The Regional Contracts Team supports all business lines within ARS in Asia, including AGCN, Global Benefits, Specialty, AGRC, Captive Management (AIMS).
Job Description
The intern will be involved in the following:
- Contract Reviews
- Joining our Contracts team in meetings with business colleagues and clients (where there is an opportunity to do so)
- Contract Projects
These responsibilities will expose provide the intern with a good understanding and appreciation of commercial contracts, the impact commercial terms have on business dealings between a firm and its clients, how a firm can manage its risks through the deployment of contracts and why it is so important to get these terms right.
The internship will help to bring Contracts and the other subjects the intern reads in the university to life.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduates graduating between December 2018 and June 2019 preferred
- Degree in law
- Meticulous and able to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Critical and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self- motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
- Adaptability – quick learner
