Purpose of role
A Marketing Intern plays a key role in the coordination of our advertising campaigns and working closely with other members of the Account team, this role is pivotal in providing administration support and the smooth running of high quality projects on brief and on time.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Attending client meetings
Compiling and updating contact reports and status briefs
Supporting in campaign pitches
Communicating costs to clients and negotiating time scales and budgets
Keeping in close contact with the client during all stages of campaigns
- Digital marketing/social media campaigns report preparation
Creating schedules to assist in the timely delivery of all our marketing materials
Assisting with moving all projects through the production process from briefing creative work through to the completed product
Opening jobs and estimating jobs on our job costing system (training will be provided)
Monitoring work progress and handling all client amends
Ensuring final project deliverables are done to the highest quality possible
Proof reading to ensure that all work we are producing is accurate so attention to detail is key
Data inputting and other general admin duties such as filing and answering incoming calls.

- Prepared to muck in and get involved in areas in which they may have limited
or no previous experience
- Willing to learn new skills and assimilate large quantities of information

- Confident and positive attitude
- Can be relied upon to do what is required without continuous supervision
- Able to use own initiative to ensure smooth running of work
- Chinese proficiency is an advantage
Ideal Characteristics
- Some experience working ideally within a fully integrated marketing agency would be advantageous, but not necessarily essential
- An interest in technology
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months
