As an aquaculture technician intern, you will gain a deeper understanding of the growth, development, and production of aquatic animals. You will also gain practical experience raising and cultivating food fish in an urban fish farming environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in water monitoring in Aquatic farming environment
- Evaluate aquatic animal/plant health
- Conduct routine autopsy/necropsy of aquatic species, e.g., shrimps, crabs, fish, seaweed, etc
Profile Required
- Pursuing diploma or degree in aquaculture, life sciences, biology, or related field.
- Good to have experience in necropsy of aquatic animals, e.g., course work or practical experience during course of study.
- An analytical and critical thinker
- Strong communication skills
