Archer Global Pte Ltd – 5G Support Data Engineer Intern

Main Responsibilities:

1. Comprehend the 4G LTE and 5G wireless telecommunications system. This would also include understanding the plan towards 6G and beyond
2. Conduct research and analyze the 3GPP 5G releases and the shift or upgrades from 4G LTE to 5G NSA and SA; the Backhaul-, Midhaul- and Fronthaul-systems, including all the network protocol requirements,
3. Study and analyze our current 5G technology setup and envision our stance within the 5G landscape
4. Assist in the preparation of the manufacturing service processes of various 5G devices and equipment:
   1. Research and evaluate manufacturing capabilities of various contract manufacturing firms
   2. Evaluate outsourced contract manufacturers, including SWOT analysis, etc

Qualifications:

1. University student majoring in Electronics Engineering and focusing in Telecommunications
2. Solid knowledge in Wireless Telecommunications such as 3G, 4G, 5G, WiFi-6, and cellular/mobile network communications and solutions
3. Passionate about 5G technology and eager to learn different 5G network systems architecture, which includes cellular cores (CU, DU), radio access networks across different network functions, etc
4. Analytical, attention to detail, and strong researching skills
5. Self-motivated, driven, initiative, and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment
