The interns we look for are enthusiastic, willing to learn and take on challenging tasks. The individual will be responsible for supporting the implementation of regional and local campaigns, as well as value-add to the company’s operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supports account teams in content development, including but not limited to copy development on platforms like social media, display, search, emails, etc.
- Supports account teams in campaign setup
- Helps the team compile weekly, fortnightly, or monthly reports on campaigns for the purposes of optimisation
- Keeps an eye out for the latest industry developments and flags them to the team
- Assists the team in terms of vendor or publisher outreach for quotes
- [Preferred, but not compulsory] Brings an eye for design to the team and is able to help with simple design and modification requests
- Social media and community management
- Participates in brainstorms for new account pitches and project ideas
- Efficient time management while achieving performance objectives
- Partying along with our squad of young, energetic communications professionals!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma, undergraduate degree or equivalent ideally in the field of PR, Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism or related
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Familiarity with common social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok
Desired Qualifications:
- Actively communicates via social media platforms
- Interest in and flair for writing
- Familiar with image editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Comfortable with extracting and manipulating data, familiar with mathematical concepts like average, mode, median, standard deviation and the like
