With strong focus in the region, Arkema is on-track to start up the largest bio-factory in the world dedicated to high performance polymer. Of which Oleris is a range of specialty oleochemicals that is co-produced during the manufacturing process. Due to its sustainable profile, this range of products is widely used in various applications mainly in cosmetics, flavor and fragrance and lubricants.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore and identify new applications for Oleris outside current known commercial market scope in SEA countries
- Conduct market research/ analysis to quantify these new opportunities and understand competitive solutions
- Make contact with and promote to the identified targets with the available promotion and communication tools.
- Initiate and manage new development projects with identified targets and coordinate with other stakeholders to bring to successful commercialization
- Timely reporting with concise and clear progress updates
Requirements
- Commit to a 5-months full time internship as specified
- Undergraduates with a background (but not limited to) in Chemisty,Chemical Engineering, Business
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills
- Good time management
- Ownership of tasks
