Traineeship Description:The Junior Project Engineer reports to the Engineer and Technical Director.

The Junior Project Engineer will be exposed to the various aspects of engineering design, development of General Arrangement Plans, fabrication drawings as well as during the actual fabrication processes for the offshore geotechnical rig fabrication & installation process. The Junior Project Engineer will also be exposed to offshore operational management of Company’s geotechnical services. 

Trainee to be involved in:

QA/QC Formulation and documentation management in relation to Fabrication and Installation.

Exposure and development of engineering calculations & fabrication & layout drawings of geotechnical spread.

Assist Engineer in Project Management aspects in relation to Fabrication and Installation.

Assist Operations Manager in management of geotechnical operations for Company’s oversea clients.

Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during SGUnited Traineeship Programme:

Active participation in strategic planning engineering processes (from design to fabrication to installation and finally to geotechnical operations), including developing goals, objectives and processes.

How to engage Company’s yard employees, offshore driller crews and clients professionally 

Gain experience with development and understanding engineering calculations for structural foundations, development of engineering fabrication drawings and project management, including management of engineering records & other aspect of fabrication documentations. 

Highest Qualification:

Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred)

Duration of Traineeship/s:

Up to 9 months only

Proposed Monthly Training Allowance per Trainee:

$2,500
