The Engineering Team at Ashley Edison Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an Associate Electrical Technician to take charge of our Thermal Scanning Projects, and to conduct Preventive Maintenance of associated Voltage Regulating Equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Associate Electrical Technician
Working Location: Toa Payoh North, Singapore 318993
Working Hours: 5 days (Monday ~ Friday, 9:30 am ~ 5:30 pm)
Salary Package: Basic + Annual Bonus
Duration: Full Time
Salary: $2,100 ~ $2,500

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting Thermal Imaging Infrared Field Inspections at job sites.
Identify overheating, defective or overloaded components.
Provide clients with advisory recommendations for problem areas.
Generation of Post-inspection Infrared Reports (using Flir Thermal Studio software).
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for Automatic Voltage Stabilisers, UPS and various voltage control solutions.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

Get Officially Qualified with Level-1 Infrared Thermographer Certification Training.
Master the industry’s most state-of-the-art Thermal Imagers.
Gain in-depth technical knowledge in harnessing the power of Infrared Technology for industrial facilities, data centres and M&E systems.
Acquire full-stack capabilities to plan and execute thermal inspection projects with key appointment holders.
Be equipped with advanced skillsets and frameworks to perform preventive maintenance effortlessly.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-Year hands-on experience in the Electrical Engineering Industry.
Education from Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering / Nitec in Electrical Technology (Power & Control) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Singaporean / Singapore PR / Malaysian.
Completed National Service (for Singaporeans).
Comfortable interacting in English.
Able to speak Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking vendors and clients.
ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCES
Basic knowledge of essential electrical components, and building mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems.
Familiar with Infrared Thermal Inspections for maintenance purposes.
Past experience in installations, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs and Sheets.
Keen interest in Infrared Thermography Technology.
Basic understanding of electrical design and power quality optimisation.
