As a Web Designer, you’ll need to:
- Participate in concept development, ideation and detailed specification of visual designs for prototypes and mockups
- Produce designs, prototypes, design layouts, create imagery and interactive assets that address the business and brand requirements, including design and production of screen layouts
- Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of the user-centred design process using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes
- Work with technology team to complete the information architecture and interface development processes for new production projects including user personas, information architecture, wireframe layout, and template development/testing (browser and platform compatibility) while maintaining optimal performance time.
- Review user adoption of deliverables and acceptance testing. Regular review of usage data to analyze user behaviours and pain points. And to ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately.
- Collaborate with the marketing department, content producers and management to refine the user experience
- Maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
- Design visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding
- Work with different content management systems and incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
You’ll need to have
- Experience with applying design standard methodologies and production techniques
- Practical use case knowledge of various UI/UX approaches and techniques.
- A deep passion for UI/UX and the digital and innovation space, with a good awareness of current trends, techniques and emerging technologies.

- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- A strong understanding of colour, typography and layout; mobile responsiveness and acute attention to details

- Relentless resourcefulness and eagerness to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new web approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree and/or 1-2 years of working experience in a related field
- Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite (Minimally Photoshop and Illustrator) or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in Figma and Sketch is a plus
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and / or JavaScript is a plus
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and web development
