The Role
AFG’s Enterprise Services team is seeking someone with interests in systems to help support the daily operations across various platforms. In addition to supporting the team across various platforms, the candidate will have an opportunity to support the team with across various functional areas including financial, technology and travel.
The ideal candidate will have experience or education in sports broadcasting with focus on system management.
Key Responsibilities
- System Support:
- Supporting the team in various areas of the Media Asset Management system “MAM”. Tasks to include:
- Setting up events and user management
- Checking metadata and the tagging used to ensure consistency of uploaded material
- Running reports and working with senior team members to issue reports to media partners
- Coordinating and managing the deadlines around the upload of post produced content ensuring they are in line with agreed service deliverables
- Coordinating and reporting of the upload of match recordings by the Media Partners and ensuring materials are received in a timely manner.
- Supporting the team with its content management system “The Vault”. Tasks will include:
- Assisting with competition setup
- Supporting in user account setup and maintenance
- Supporting in creating and updating of user manuals
- Coordinate tracking of deadlines and escalating open items to senior team members
- General Support:
- Entering purchase orders
- Setting up new vendor profiles
- Creating and issuing monthly travel newsletter to issue company wide
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in broadcast, media asset management, and content services
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled user of all Microsoft applications
- Flexible, enthusiastic and motivated
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and work diligently both independently and within a team
- Introducing fresh perspectives and innovative technologies to enhance content service
- Experience in events, with sports events a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the demands of the role
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus
