The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) is the trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices and in vitro diagnostics, industry associations, and other key stakeholders associated with the medical technology industry in the Asia Pacific region. Note: This is a paid internship, 5 days a week, standard hours.
To assist in the administrative management of two working groups– meeting minutes, action items and member engagement.
Project management support for Diagnostics projects:
Example 1: Strengthening the role of diagnostics in public health- awareness campaign and local stakeholder engagement in one or two markets in APAC
Example 2: Advocate for awareness and adoption of fit for purpose Value assessment framework for Diagnostic funding and reimbursement in APAC (for cardiovascular biomarkers, next generation sequencing etc.) in one or two markets in APAC
Project management support for ESG projects:
Example 1: Environment regulatory dashboard: Update and expansion of scope
Example 2: Collation of technical proof points for compliance to environmental regulations without compromising safety and quality
Internal and external working group event management: Planning and coordinating in country activation events for projects, APACMed’s Townhall events etc.
Research (primary and secondary)
Writing and communications.
Any other strategic projects to be identified and aligned during the internship
You will also be part of the core team for weekly meetings and strategic planning
Pre-requisites
Completed GCE “A” levels (or while awaiting university placement) based in Singapore
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Independent thinker and worker, who also works well within teams.
Able to engage senior leaders and professionals confidently
Excellent written and spoken English.
Organised, efficient and detail-oriented
Prior experience in policy shaping or advocacy or healthcare or ESG would be advantageous. Able to commit to a full-time internship is preferred.
